【摘要】:Thehydrocarboncomponentdistributionofliquefiedpetroleumgasesandpropenemixturesisoftenrequiredforend-usesaleofthismaterial.Applicationssuchaschemicalfeedstocksorfuelrequireprecisecompositionaldatatoensureuniformquality.Traceamountsofsomehydrocarbonimpuritiesinthesematerialscanhaveadverseeffectsontheiruseandprocessing.Thecomponentdistributiondataofliquefiedpetroleumgasesandpropenemixturescanbeusedtocalculatephysicalpropertiessuchasrelativedensity,vaporpressure,andmotoroctane(seePracticeD2598).Precisionandaccuracyofcompositionaldataareextremelyimportantwhenthesedataareusedtocalculatevariouspropertiesofthesepetroleumproducts.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthequantitativedeterminationofindividualhydrocarbonsinliquefiedpetroleum(LP)gasesandmixturesofpropaneandpropene,excludinghigh-puritypropeneintherangeofC1toC5.Componentconcentrationsaredeterminedintherangeof0.01to100volumepercent.1.2ThistestmethoddoesnotfullydeterminehydrocarbonsheavierthanC5andnon-hydrocarbonmaterials,andadditionaltestsmaybenecessarytofullycharacterizeanLPGsample.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
