【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddescribesthreesimpleandfastprocedurestoprepareplutoniumsourcesandaproceduretomeasuretheactivityratioofPuto(Pu+Pu)byαspectrometry.TheαspectrometrymethodisusedforthedeterminationofisotopicabundanceofPuincombinationwithmassspectrometryandeliminatesthepossibleinterferencesofUinthelattermethod.Itappliestotheanalysisofpurifiedsolutionsofplutoniumin2mol/lto4mol/lnitricacidcontaining50μgto200μgofplutoniumpermillilitre,asmayresultfromthechemicaltreatmentandpurificationprecedingplutoniumisotopicanalysisbymassspectrometry.ThisInternationalStandardappliestoplutoniumsolutionsfreefromAmandthosecontaininglessthan10%ofothernon-volatileimpuritiesrelativetotheplutoniumcontent.AnionexchangechromatographyinaccordancewithISO8299:1993,Subclauses7.2and7.3,orsolventextractionchromatographyinISO15366aresuitablepurificationmethods.ThemethodsgiveninthisInternationalStandardareintendedforuseinconjunctionorinparallelwithmassspectrometryfortheisotopicanalysisofplutoniuminspent-fuelsolutionsornuclear-gradeplutoniumproducts.
