This notice should be filed in front of MIL-STD-1261C, dated 31 May 1985.MIL-STD-1261C is inactive for new design and is no longer used as a guidance reference for newdesigns.New designs should use AWS D1.1, entitled "Structural Welding Code-Steel". CAUTION: Thesupersession information is valid as of the date of this notice and may be superseded by subsequentrevisions of the superseding document.
